I think I'm FINALLY getting the required calluses on my left fingertips for playing guitar--the hand still tends to spaz out when seeking chords, but at least I can press down when I finally find 'em without wincing.
I was hoping to dazzle the Partner with a Richard Thompson or Leadbelly song when I see her in NYC next month, but I think I might have to settle for Kumbaya.

nothings set in stone yet, but it looks like not a single candidate or proposition I voted for recieved more than 20% of the vote. curse my fondness for third party candidates & progressive measures! will I never learn?

in other news, I kinda sorta have a date tonight.
quick...What's something interesting for me to whisper into her shell-like ear?

Yeah I hear that alot of people love Stendhal in general and especially Red and Black. But I just can't get into it. Its feels like wading through mud sometimes. But what can you do? Maybe tis an aquired taste. Or one I'll develop with age...or maybe I'm missing its draw altogether, who knows.

I used to love it when I got viola callouses. And the chin rest mark ("viola hickey"). Yay!
