sexy ladyfriend in the midwest is going to Costa Rica over New Years & I'm stuck here buried under a mountain of greying snow, without even the option of a jaunt to Las Vegas or SLC until I can retrieve wounded automobile from it's undisclosed location.
as it stands, I'll be ringing in 2004 at the Prison, where the festivities are understandably low-key.

it's been a pretty good year, tho, & I've got some pretty gnarly icicles hanging off the side of my house. (those two things really have nothing to do with each other, but there you go)
thus far my only resolution is to grow a beard until things start to warm up.
