merry x-mas, y'all!

I hope it's great for you! & for me! because x-mas eve sucked, as they say, ass.

for starters: my car is stranded out in the middle of the desert containing maybe a thousand dollars worth of stuff (x-mas presents & sundry) & very very expensive injuries. also my stepfather is in jail.

on the other hand, I DID get to see the Partner who'd come over from NY for a few days (unfortunately, she'd just had some dental work done & couldn't smoke, use a straw,--or do anything that involved, well, sucking--& was in a bad mood besides)

also ran into a woman I had quite a crush on years ago to discover that the twittery felings were still there, & that she feels quite the same way...(of course, if the car is as dead as she seems, it's going to be a while before I see her again...)

anyway, bought the "Firefly" box set for the brother-in-law but decided to keep it myself, & purchased the fixins for hot buttered rum. should I be able to extract the above items from the wounded automobile, my x-mas plans involve a co-mingling of same.
