hey kids! once again it's time for "ratsonjulia's recipe corner"!

today: swordfish steak for one!

you'll need:
an oven
a swordfish steak
some dill
a bulb of garlic
one (1) lime
foil
pam
a cookie sheet
one of those squeezy lemon-juice things

put some foil on the cookie sheet. spray with a spot of pam roughly the size of the steak. hoist steak with fork onto glistening pamspot. preheat oven to 375.

sprinkle dill on steak. (you may be asking yourself: Where the hell am I going to get dill at this time of night? or a freakin' swordfish steak for that matter? that's your problem, not mine.) peel & slice as much of the garlic as you can fit on the upward-facing surface of the steak. slice the lime into thinnish slices & lay it on top of the garlic. slide in oven.

you now have 25 minutes to either wash a plate & prepare a side dish of some kind, or else watch the rest of "King of the Hill".

let cool. give it a couple of squirts with the squeezy lemon thing. eat in front of tv.

there will be a stripe of dark hide around the steak. give this to the cat. --she won't eat it, but will instead hide it & drag it out later to lay in front of you as you are stumbling for the bathroom in the dark with bare feet. this will make her happy. a happy cat is less likely to suck out your breath while you sleep (scientific fact!)

enjoy!

All the diaper, clothing, food, and toy expenses really bite into any tax savings. What so many people don't know is that when you deduct you don't deduct the full allowable amount, you deduct the amount of tax that would have been applied to the allowable amount. What I'm saying is this: shovel the damn snow for me, ok?
