li'l bit sad this morning--just checked out New York Press a little bit ago to read their "Billboard" items (as I've done just about every morning for about 2 years now) & found out they've decided to discontinue it indefinitely.
it's most likely entirely coincedental, but after I moved here to the sticks & finally got my hands on a computer with an internet connection, I checked out the NYP website & was a bit dissapointed to find that it didn't have the "Billboard" random little pieces by their writers riffing on whatever might be going on in the news or the world or a verbatim description of the conversation of 2 junkies in the next seat over on the N Train. I wrote an email to the editors & a couple of weeks later there it was.
& now it's gone.
