ok, so this is an UPDATE:
new girl: going great, shes the best. she makes me giddy. like a little girl.
current job: i need to quit. the owner has totally fucked the place up since he bought it 2 years ago. he treats us like shit, pays us way less that we are worth, and has added twice the responsabllity to our already endless list of daily and weekly obligations. yesterday, he drove my roommate, who was a 8+ year employee, to quit after a ridiculous speach/bitch session where he accused all of us of being inefficient at our jobs. there are certain methods of doing thing at the job that have been developed and refined over the 20 years that the marina has been open. this fucker comes in and tells us that we are doing things all wrong and we need to use less people and take less time. he has never owned or operated a marina in his life, and now he thinks he knows better that us how to do things. asshole.
the new job: i start teaching at the Toledo Drum School this tuesday. $25 an hour. hopefully this will the the beginning af a new and fulfilling career for me.
the bug: i had a mishap involving a loose axle nut and now i have to get all new braking hardware and a drum for the left rear axle. after thats fixed, ill be getting it ready to drive up to the vintage VW show in ypsilanti in a couple weeks. besides the brakes,i need to do a bunch of other work to i before its ready but im a little short on money for parts. ill accept donations.
