ok, teh update:
*Guitar Center is working out nicely except for the fact that they want to make me the drum department manager already. its a little soon for that i think. id prefer to have a few more months under my belt, so's i can be sure i know how the place should run.
*my girlfriend STILL rocks. i am very lucky.
*i sold a drumset to Guitar Center the day before i started working there and it has been sitting on the floor for these past couple months sportin the SG star sticker that i had put on it. i just recently had the chance to sell it to a young emo/hardcore kid that works at the Vans store in the mall. one of the selling points? it already had an SG sticker!! the dude was savvy!
it went a little something like this:
"yeah, this is one of my old drum kits that i sold to this place right before i started working here. i took this on tour and..."
"awesome! it already comes with a Suicide Girls sticker!!"
"uhh...yeah"
*old navy is the best place in the world to shop. EVER.
*im looking into getting a new car. my truck is just about done, and the mileage sucks anyway. theres a '92 VW Gti around the corner that ive had my eye on. im trying to get the dude to sell it to me. he had given me a price a few months ago, but now that i have the dough, he wont answer my calls. poo head.
*a dear friend of mine was in a severe car accident a couple days ago. he's still in the ICU, so i havent been able to visit him. im scared to though, because i dont think ill be able to handle seeing him so fucked up.
*my bug needs to go in storage soon, its getting closer to snow and i dont want it to sit outside for another winter. im looking at renting a self storage place for it, but its over 100 bucks a month. and i wont be able to work on it there. i need to get my own garage!!
