My Meatball is finally home.
She's still in rough shape, but a million times better than she was before.
She's very happy to be home.
She has to wear one of those stupid cones on her head for a while though. I've named it "The Doofus Collar".
I'll get some better pics later today and wite a better update. I just need to go spend some happy time with her.

I literally just got in from work, so I look like I'm homeless. Cut me some damn slack already. :-)
BTW: To everyone who posted kind words here....
Thank you very much. Even though it's just words on a screen it really did help me feel better about this whole thing. She's a good dog, and I promise to make sure that she's happy and well taken care of. She deserves it.
