How's SG land doing?
I believe that working this new night shift is affecting my sleep routine. Me and my husband stayed up all last night and went to bed at 9 am.
We're currently watching the History Channel. There's an episode on the history of cheese. It's fantastic. What's your favorite cheese?
Earlier I made homemade mashed potatoes for the first time earlier. I'm quite proud of myself.
Just an incident at work night before last: I work as a front desk agent at a hotel if you don't already know. We have a guest that has been staying at the hotel for quite some time now, and that night she just happened to have had a male visitor/friend/person. anyhoo, they both came in and the man started going on about how his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. we encouraged him to make a police report, however, he refused. the reason was because it was his GIRLFRIEND'S escalade and with him filing a police report would mean her finding out he was somewhere he shouldn't be. the conclusion to this story is that i received a phone call from a woman asking for our physical address that she was going to need to file the police report on the vehicle that was stolen on our property earlier in the night.. upon letting her know, she started asking for the room number of a particular guest. the thing is, is that her boyfriend was not registered to the hotel, because he was with the woman that was actually registered at our hotel. this lady sounded PISSED. especially when i told her that her boyfriend wasn't actually staying at the hotel, or anyone she knew. such drama.
anyway, i'm going to do my income tax report this evening and i really hope i get a refund back. especially since last year i waitressed for the most part of it and i hope i didn't report too much income.

I started on my taxes. I think the people that did my college 1098-T form screwed up - some things like tuition paid are left blank?! So far I owe $4. I have never not gotten money back. And what I don't understand, is that I paid out so damn much, but didn't make that much! So I am going to try to do another company. See if I get different results. Hopefully yours go easier!!

Best of luck with the tax return, I hate doing them and I work as a contractor to the Australian Tax Office, dont shoot me please. I could not be bothered doing all that work myself so I have a really good tax guy to do mine.
