It is currently 8 below zero and I am have finish more the half a liter of Scotch while making a large pot of beef stew. The Sotch is to keep me warm while the stew cooks. It should cook all night but I don't think I can last that long. 
I hope everyone that reads this and has someone to cuddle up to to night will remember those of who don't.

Secondly, I'd like to say that I've felt cold that cold during the 17years I spent in Chicago. I couldn't imagine nothing better than a good drink and some good soup on any night where it's below zero.
