It is cold and grey here in Minnesota this morning but I had a great time in the top of a tree. I love climbing trees. I took of the top of one this morning that looked like it was going to come down on its own and then I sat back and watched the world from 40 feet up. It really does a person good to see everyday things from a new perspective.
This afternoon I am going to do some painting. I am trying to finish a portrait of an uncooperative model. Uncooperative because she does not like posing nude but she has to because my team beat her team in hockey. Anyone out there want to bet on the a game????? I could really use a new model. Especially one that holds still.
To night is the annual spring bonefire. A big fire outback, wine and Scotch, maybe a few things roasted on sticks. It is a great time. Come if you can find me.

i climb poles for fun. when the whether gets better, i think i'm inspired to climb me a lil tree and hang out for a bit and veg out from the world...
