Wonder of wonders. It is Monday and I am not on a plane going some where.
Tuesday I am off to St. Louis but today I am sitting in my cozy little office/studio and enjoying being home.
I spent the weekend do exactly th oppisite of what I wanted to do. The is storm Friday night took out a tree in my yard so I played lumberjack most of the weekend. No painting, no darkroom and worst of all no internet.
Today I am going to paint a little between work calls and try to enjoy the day.
Anyone want to play in the woods?

As for composition hints, I haven't got a clue. I'm sure you have already heard all the basic photographer rules and you already seem to have a good grasp of the subject. To me the bottom line is, "Do you love it?" If not, don't show it. Or tell everyone it was a quick shot.
Hope you're having a good one.
