If anyone has been watching the Netflix show Bridgerton based on the Julia Quinn novels set during Regency era London you might get a kick out of this look! I actually shot it during the first lockdown last year, having absolutely no idea this style was about to boom!
I've long been inspired by Marie Antoinette and rococo art, so a couple of years ago I gave myself the project to create a wig very similar to those worn by aristocrats in the Regency period! It took me a couple of days to do and on reflection I could have made it a lot lighter (I used a very dense wig) but I'm pretty proud of it!
I shot, styled and edited this photoshoot myself! I do a lot of my own photography because I like being in control of an image, but it's definitely a theme I want to revisit with a larger set and maybe even a different colour wig!
