You all know I love 1940s and 50s pinup styles, but lately I've also been trying 60s and 70s looks too! I feel a sense of confidence in liberation in these looks- the latter two eras ushered in an age of sexual, political, and social liberation for women that hadn't existed before, and the fashions of the time reflected this. The 60s/70s woman moved away from the white picket fence fantasy and into a world where being independently happy and successful was a reality! What decades do you love?

First - I'm in love with this picture! Love the green dress! Second - every decade has its pros, but the 1950's seems very idealistic to me. Boom times after WWII, and before the turmoil and unrest of the mid-60's.
