This week my friends and I had a craft night, making head pieces and accessories for a Drag Ball over a few drinks. My partner helped me put together this look inspired by Victorian ladies' hats with a dark twist!

First we glued a replica cat skull to a felt base (the skull was a fish tank accessory!) Next I hand-painted roses with speckles to replicate blood and glued them around the skull to give the hat volume. Strings of faux pearls, pheasant feathers and fake gems finished off the look and I'm so happy with how it turned out!
