last night at toc was pretty good.
we were told that the meet and greet would be before the show thinking oh yeah it starts at 6 so we will get there by 5 and it will be sweet.
first we were told 5:30, then 6:30 rolls around and someone comes out and says, its going to be at 7:30 now.
i missed rise against
im very sad about that cos i have been gettinginto them in the last few weeks. anyway
so 7:30 comes and we are taken back to some room and told to wait, how exciting. my nails are like bleeding now from nervousness. the used come in, and u can tell its their mission to get it over and done with ASAP. jeph and branden were by far the nicest guys, talking to everyone and didnt complain when asked tot ake photos. bert smelt bad and wasnt interested in doing anything but signing what he had to and getting out as fast as he could but atleast i got to meet him. quinn who i have loved for ever was so off his face was nice but only cos he had to, and him and bert left before the others.
i got some photos but i moved the camera too fast before they took so they are all fuzzy but u can still make out who they are. i didnt want to ask for more cos i was too scared hahah. i got my 2 cd books signed too WOO
so i get out just in time to see story of the year. i have disliked this band up until last night. WOW, best band of the night by FAR. so cool throwing guitars, doing flips etc. really really good live band. really good. wow.
funeral were next and meh, not fussed.
my old friends (some of them from back in hervey bay) played on the 2nd stage. sooo stoked for them, heaps of people waited round to watch as well.
then it was killswitch. fuck yeah, so good. bert came out and sang too which just made my fav killswitch song even better.
then it was the used. well they were better than crustys but theres just something lacking in their performance.
i think its funny that in every show they have played in australia people try and knock out bert with shoes and he has to say fuck you to people in the crowd who give them the finger the whole show.
i met up with lior and gravedisorder too!! they are coo people! cant wait till tomorrow.
i have to clean so much tonight GRR.
