Need some advice here - looking to purchase a photo editing tool, like Photoshop Elements - does anyone have any input as to the capabilities of this program, as well as the user-friendliness of it? I am also considering Photoshop Premier Elements. Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.

The problem is that I dread how things will change. I don't see it getting better any time soon. Stupid world leaders! Stupid politics! If the universe only revolved around me we would never have any of these problems. Sesh.

Try Picasa, which is now owned by Google. It's free and is good for very basic photo tweaking, which it sounds like what you're looking for.

If you want good reviews of those apps, go to download.com and search for them.
