Observation to be made on this Day of Thanks....

Why do we "Dress" a turkey by "stuffing it", sticking a steel needle through it (to keep the stuffing inside), and tie it's legs together, (some people) even tuck the wing tips under so that the tips are stuck into the Wing pits???

If I were to stick my wife with a needle, stuff her mouth withsomething, and tie her legs together some people would label me as "abnormal and deviant"??

Just a thought that came to mind after dinner. Hope that your turkey enjoyed being stuffed, dressed, stuck, restrained, and carved. wink biggrin

I love how I have to keep commenting on the turkey day journal entry. biggrin Yeah so I think that guy may have sent the email to the wrong chick because he's been booted from SG and it wasn't because of me. I tried bringing him up on the site to show a friend how skeevy he looked and his profile was gone (later in the day that I had gotten the email! Wow they are fast to boot!). It's just as well. . .gross. Anyway, hope your paper is done and the stress is finished for you. . .mine's not over until the 15th. frown

Um, well. . .if I get my dissertation done on time and get a full APA accredited intership my fifth year then technically I should be graduating with my Psy.D in May of 2010. I've got a while. They say the first and second years are the hardest. . .they try to break you. But oh well, at least I get four weeks of vacation after Dec 15th for xmas. biggrin
