i'm currently at KaraLynn and MadDonkeyAraneda's house doing this update. i've been staying at my grandmother's house in Lumberton, NC all week. i'll probably be there for a long while. jobs are extremely hard to find in this area. i may, however, have an opportunity to get a job in Sanford, the (for now) home of SGNC. i'm going to go there on monday to see what's what.
once i leave Raleigh tomorrow, i'm going to go spend the rest of the weekend with my best friend and her sister who is graduating from college. i hope to drink a lot. a whoooooole lot. but we'll see about that. anyhow, i'll update again next time i get a chance.

PS: after i got here today KaraLynn and i were discussing what movies we could watch with her kids. she asked if i had seen the harry potter movies. i told her i had not. she told me we could watch it and eat "berthie bott's everyflavor beans." now..i thought these were just regular jelly beans with cute flavor names, like, say, "dirt," or "sardine." so you can imagine when i took a bite of one of the sardine-flavored ones and discovered that it..uh..really tasted like sardines. once i finished cleaning my mouth out with ajax, i threw the rest of the beans at KaraLynn and started the paperwork for filing my lawsuit. (she insisted that i include this story in my update.)
