Today has, so far, been one of the BEST days of my life!
First of all, the apartment that I went to see in Morro Bay yesterday and absolutely LOVED, I got offered this morning! I got to work today and around 11 the landlord called me and told me that he'd called my current landlord and had gotten a great reference, so if I wanted the place, I could have it! I was ecstatic because I can legally have Bitch Face with me, it is SO clean with new paint, new mahogany shelving, new terra cotta tile in the kitchen and bathroom, and new appliances in the kitchen! Its just a walk to the beach and I have the entire back yard to myself, which is so very awesome! I can move in after the 1st of August! Its just what I wanted and Im so happy that I dont have to look for anymore places!
Then, my admin. Captain comes in with my 3rd (and final!!!) review and says; welcome to the family! I passed probation and am now officially permanent in my department AND I get a 5% pay raise! Im totally stoked!
Im getting my knuckles touched up on the 8th and I can pitch my new ideas to Beau when I go in therethe idea of more tattoos is always tantalizing!
Then I leave on the 13th for Humboldt county, for a week long PAID vacation (Just another perk of being a PERMANENT employee) and I get to hang out with my friend Steve, who I havent seen in like 6 months! How stoked am I?? Pretty effin stoked!
Weve had nothing but bizarre calls all day, but Ellen, Karen and I have been having such a good time! Ive been laughing my ass off!
To top it all off, I have a date tonight with a very lovely girl! Im going to have to run home after I get off work and jump in the shower and hope that I dont take forever and three days to get ready like I normally do. Im so excited!!!
