We're leaving for the bay area in a few hours. We got a hotel and he leaves tomorrow evening. I'm so bummed out. We thought that he lost his passport for a little while, we eventually ended up finding it, but for a while I was secretly glad that maybe he wouldn't get to leave...now I think maybe I should hide it so he's stuck here for just a little while longer. Ahh, fuck. Who am I kidding?

I'm totally bummed about this! I went to leave work for lunch the other day and the engine just cranked and cranked without ever firing up! I couldn't really check my fuel pump because I was all alone, but I did my best to try and listen for something, but I never did hear anything, which is pretty normal I gues, considering that I hear nothing all the time, and I can normally hear on another vehicle when it's fuel pump is struggling...it makes sort of a whining noise...and some vehicles (GM for example) have fuel pump you can hear engage but then they normally shut off...but not the mustang. So it's got like 60K miles on it now, and I've not replaced the fuel pump and it's probably way overdue, but then my car is still running really well, motor-wise, so I don't think it's a fuel issue. It's not an air issue, I just cleaned my KNN filter, and they're the absolute shit...but still that would cause my car to run poorly. When the motor was cranking, it wasn't going slow, like it was a battery or alternator problem, and it wasn't starting over-quickly, like it was a timing problem, but my car's ignition and mixture and timing are all electriacl things, and that's my best guess right now. I just need to go and get an OBD-II and figure out if the girl's got any codes stored in her...and then go from there I guess...
