It's roughly 3 a.m. eastern and I'm toiling again with insomnia. It's more or less my lack of wanting to go to sleep at a rational time than it is actual sleep deprivation. I've run into a few friends that have SG accounts and I've always been somewhat curious in what to expect.
No, I'm not just a random lurker looking at the pictorials on the site. However, I must say, there are some very diverse individuals here and this is a great place for you all, and I hope I can find some dialogue with those that have somewhat smimilar interests. I'm pretty laid back normally, but we all have our moments. I write for a living, so while I might not be as artistic and verbose and down with the prose as well as many other artistic folks around these parts, I love to put pen to paper so to speak and write about what I see, what I do and how I see it unfolding.
I'm in a world of sport, and thus, it's a different style of writing. I've got some blogs floating around the net, but to be quite honest, I don't feel they're there for "me" as I seem to write more about what others want to read about .... I'm over that.
Blogging/writing is therapy in many ways. I have kept things locked up and I feel that SG might be the place to finally be able to vent without the worry about what others think, because from what I've seen so far, drama isn't what SG is about.
So as the first SG post on the new blog, I love to travel, I love to write, I love to see new places. I'm working on getting another tattoo (I have one, will be posting a pic of it shortly). I'm brash and opinionated, but apparently I'm not alone, and I think I'm going to like that.
I'm not kissing anyone's ass by stating this ... just some random thoughts, from the random scribe.
