Wow...so this has been a crazy weekend. Went to see Bernie and MAN did we party. The music was fucking awesome and I danced so much my body still hurts...especially when they played Burning Down the House. After it was over my friend told me to try to get the drummer to come over to my bf's band studio, which was right next store. It worked...and he was cool as hell. Then he went back nextdoor to get Bernie and when people got wind of it it turned into a huge party. For those of you who don't know, Bernie is a two-time rock and roll hall of famer...he was old and couldn't hear well, but he could still play like a motherfucker. Gary, the drummer, used to also play with the B-52's. They stayed there until 6 am partying. I even left before them.
So, basically, we had a wild time which led to a lot of sitting around yesterday. Now I have A LOT of work to do. So I'm off to study for my Russian History exam...which is tomorrow!!
