Glass is kind of tricky to listen to... I get the feeling that really studying his music would be rewarding, in the way that, say, really studying the work of Saint-Saens or Mahler would be rewarding, but it's so much effort.

As a soundtrack composer, on the other hand, I love Philip Glass: if you liked the music in Koyaanisqatsi, Naqoyqatsi and Powaqqatsi are also worth checking out, as well as "The Fog of War."

I've got copies of Naqoyqatsi and Powaqqatsi, and we live in the same town, so let me know if you're interested in borrowing them.

But yeah, the music to Koyaanisqatsi is sooo great.
