Really, it's not just this one. I really hate most holidays. This one's just abnormally stupid. But anyway...
Went to the party. The big pro-Kerry guy was there, but he immediately congradulated me (read attempted to placate me), so I didn't need to give him the verbal bitch-slap. The republican wasn't there...actually, he didn't get invited. Apparently he'd been such an ass to some other people that the hosts decided to take him off their list, lest their real friends not come. So I didn't get to hit anyone. I did, however, end up there all night. That's what happens when metro stops running at 3.
