New Moon on Monday today, so that's always fun. Can't really enjoy it though b/c I'm sick.
Sore throat is just killing me. I have to see a doctor so I can get meds, and I don't have health insurance.
On the whole, b/c I'm not sick much, I'll still have saved money by not paying monthly to an insurance company when I hardly ever get sick, but still. It just seems stupid. I could go to work (my book store) and figure out what I've got, but I still couldn't get the medicine I need just b/c (I can already tell) I'll need more than something OTC. So instead I have to go hand over part of my paycheck and a good chunk of my day to some guy who's going to do nothing more than put a little wooden stick in my mouth, tell me to say ahh, glance inside, and write out a slip of paper while saying something stupid/condescending like, "Now, you go get well!" or "Remember: don't share these with anyone else."
I don't usually complain, but this is a low spot for me. Check back soon, though, b/c I'm going to need a little help with an upcoming project...
