YAY.
Finances straightened themselves out just in time for me to stick around. So it looks like I'm not leaving at the end of this week. For a minute there, my finances were tighter than yo' kid sister (as they say).
I surprised myself last night at the pool table. Usually it takes me three games or so to warm up, but people were being way competitive, and I guess I eat that up. I crushed 'em. One dude started a game with a 4-ball run, and I answered right back. Balls to that!
My Christmas is out of the way. After my skipping the past 3 of them, this time Christmas with the fam was inevitable, but at least I moved it up a weekend. Got West Wing Season 3 on DVD, among other things. I love that show.
I've got to figure out what to do/where to go for vacation at the end of January (if I don't use the vacation time, it gets taken away...therefore, I'm using it). Hopefully I can go somewhere for cheap, as earlier mentioned, the funds are not exactly at max. Any ideas?
