Welcome to the last weekend. I can't stand the suspense. This weekend is all about distracting myself from this Tuesday's election. Good news: Slate finally shows Kerry winning the electoral vote. At least for the moment we have a shot. They've been giving updates every day or so as new polling numbers come in, and it's been Bush mostly.
I'm taking that night off to watch the returns. But any ideas of what to do to keep me preoccupied before then would be much appreciated. I think I'm even going to take this weekend to get in touch with a couple people that I haven't been much in touch with (one I've been avoiding and the other...well sometimes it just hurts, you know?). National Novel Writing Month begins Monday, so I'll begin Scorpio Boys soon. Plus I'll clean. Yes, I'll clean. I just kicked things off by cleaning our gross stovetop, and now it shines.
