My GM is leaving. My Borders has the GM of the year, who rescued me from another Borders where the GM was nothing short of evil. And not just because she took "Republican" as a compliment. Anyway, my current GM doesn't like her anal boss, and so she's leaving, and that's sad.

In other news, I'm hungry. I don't just mean I want something to eat (I just had two bowls of cereal). I mean I'm HUNGRY. For something more, you know? I hate when you need something and don't know exactly what it is. I get new music next week. I get a new age next month. I'm reading all sorts of good stuff. But I need something more.

A poet friend of mine has a poem about this. (Entitled: Hungry.) DJ Tao's his name, and he said he's "hungry like the reason I speak so fast is so my words'll have a chance to escape before I change my mind and decide to take a BITE out of 'em!" That's how I'm feeling.

I also need to slow time down, but that's another something entirely.

So here's my question for you:
What if the world went all funny like you could SEE things from a whole different way...like you're standing on the corner of the block at a right angle to yourself--holy shit! There you are looking at you out of the corner of your eye! Or something like that...anyway: What would you notice that's important, and what would you do about it?
