sometimes its weirds me out that i was born in the 70s. its almost surreal.
so, while making dinner tonight i started thinking about that marilyn manson dude. now, i dont know how many of you have ever heard a song by this particular superstar, but whenever i get one of his songs in my head, i like to modify it and sing is show-tune style.
what i find most appealing about this way of viewing marilyn manson is that almost everyone one of his songs (except all of those remakes) can be modified into a delightful little show tuney ditty.
so give it a try. go put on 'tournaquet' or maybe that god is in the tv song and compose your remake. what do you think?
maybe marilyn manson is a serious showtune fan and writes all of his songs in this format before handing them over to his producers or buddies or whoever who then mutates them into pop-tasticular-goth-industri-everybody-look-at-me-i'm-scary music.
