puny criminal minds indeed.

it just makes me think that someone with half a brain could really do well at a game like that.

Well SomeOneUk is another fish... I always seemed to have tons of Scorpios as good friends when I was growing up... I like Scorpios. Not that I believe in that sort of thing (although I find it interesting that people I like/dislike tend to lump into certain signs).

Tons of people have my birthday. thelastbeliever does for a start.

R mentioned you were contemplating coming down to Soton. You are welcome to. Either that or London - I'm often home at the moment tending to the garden.

Damn I cut my finger whilst making a sandwich and it really hurts to type.

i saw someone today watching someone else as they were speaking to him and his eyes were full of excitment. she was speaking her ideas to him--questioning interpretations. and he was fully engaged with her. like a person coming to some sort of revelation where all the pieces of the world could fit together if you could just formulate those words on the tip of...

Darling, you come with me and you wont need to worry or feel shy. I would feel the same way if I didn't know anyone but I have 2 good friends who are coming and probably another few friends of friends who will tag along. I wish my journal entry was still around from the one I went to before. They really are unlike anything you have ever been to before. Its a really saucy and sexy atmosphere but there's absolutely no sleaze or seediness. And because there are no boys everyone is a lot less inhibited and there is much spontaneous pole dancing and loads of booty-shaking. You can wear whatever makes you feel sexy. Last time I wore a tight pencil skirt and a boob tube but this time I'm going to dress a little more provocatively... but can't decide what yet wink Although there are lots of bisexual and lesbian girls there, there's plenty of straight girls and its just a really friendly and non-snooty atmosphere. Have I convinced you now? smile

i had a friend once. we'll just call him 'kyle'. kyle was a great guy. i knew him before i had ever smoked my first cigarette. he has never smoked cigarettes. he has, however, participated in a lot of other bodily polluting activities. i asked kyle once, "what's it like to trip out on LSD?"

kyle, being the thoughtful (as in full of thoughts) person...

The definition of existence: As I said: I made a powerful ally in myself. A very pertinent part of my existence. For the better part of 22 years, I have been the best friend that anyone can have. I've listened to the problems that people have, I've helped people through troubled times, I've even sacfrificed my own will for those people that led me to believe that I am their friend.
Now, after sitting alone on the anniversary of my birth, I relise that just about every single one of those people is everything but my friend. People are all too willing to take advantage of other people. The reasons are usually different, but the outcome is mostly the same: It makes them feel better.
What this all adds up to for me, and as the overall answer to the previous question, is that it's just too hard to find truth in the hearts, and/or minds of those around you. Thus, the definition of my existence is to find those people who are true. The people you can turn your back on casually, and know that there will never be a jagged, sharp piece of metal there when you reach back to scratch the following itch. Just one kindred spirit. I still have yet to find it in the complete form.

P.S. thanks for exploring surreal thoughts, they really are quite exciting to me.

There is something so infinitely attractive about a booxe-filled night out as a solution to a heavy workload... love

Thanks for letting me know. Assuming this weekend doesn't need to be a no-sleeper (I'm a perfectionist, deep, deep, way deep down), then I would love to be there.

I'll go say hello to monsieur doggie, and madame p.

pushing for a pushing? nope...

Ha ha... I thought it was weird that what was on Bush's iPod made the news... wtf? We have nothing better to talk about?! eeek

Today i got a surprize gift from someone. i couldn't stop beaming. It's nice to get gifts. but even nicer when they come from someone with thoughtful and caring intent--not just a gift to help make your day a better one, but a gift that let's you know that someone was thinking about and heard what you said and found it in some way meaningful....

No worries, it's none of my business anyway whatever smile

The Palace stuff might be hard to find, but 'Viva Last Blues' is the place to start, if you can get it. 'Arise Therefore' is, umm, "difficult". A great record, I think. 'Hope' is well worth it, and so is 'Palace Brothers' (which had a different title which I can't remember). And also Bonnie "Prince" Billy is also Will Oldham, and the record to try there is 'I See A Darkness'.
Amazon seem to be able to get some of it. Be warned, they're all quite short records so they're not cheap, on a bucks-per-song basis. I think all five are essential, but I'm weird like that.

Length of time depends upon our ideas.
Size of space hands upon our sentiments.
For one whose mind is free from care,
a day will outlast the millennuim.
For one whose heart is large,
a tiny room is as the space between heaven and earth.

at my place of work, the men's bathroom has no mirror but the women's bathroom does.

is that some sort of sexist thing or just an oversight?

and in case you are wondering, yes, i frequent the men's loo. why? because i can't understand why loos are segregated. if society feels that its appropriate to segregate the sexes (based on what?--differing outward appearances?) then perhaps...
