So, not be dramatic or anything š¤·āļø
But yesterday, I took my car to a shop to have the battery replaced, even though I bought it 2 months ago. Last night, I was driving around with a friend and my hood flew up into my windshield while we were on the highway, as it wasn't latched. Lucky, it didn't cave in on us, but there are little shards of glass all over the inside of my car. I'm looking at about $370 to replace it even though I have comprehensive coverage. I'm going to ask the shop why the fuck my hood wasn't latched, but I'm not confident I'll be able to get them to do anything about it. I'm already struggling to tread water from switching jobs and I owe so much money to friends already.
I just want to catch a break.
