My animals are out of control! I have Dafnee the basset hound and Elwood, the tux cat. They get along great, but lately, at about 4 A.M., they hang outside my bedroom door, and make noise. The cat meows and the dog whines. Theres no way you can remain asleep during this ruckus. Maybe I need a pet sitter or something, but this is really impacting my sleep.

I really can't apply to more than one school. Like I said, I own a house right by Pitt. And I have a husband and a son and I can't just uproot them. I can't leave them for the semester either because my husband has diabetes and his blood sugar runs low during his sleep frequently which requires me to call 911. I didn't even go to college until I was 23 so I feel like I'm already behind, another year wouldn't be the end of the world, even though I'm hoping I don't have to wait.

I think I'm going to try to mention most of it. I mean I have a lot of stuff that I know give me bonus points, especially before the spouse and kid, but I don't want it to end up sounding like "poor me, I had rough points in my life. Please pity me and let me in your school". I was thinking about writing about how buying my first house was one of the proudest moments in my life or something along those lines, so I can show them how dedicated I am to achieving goals and such.
