Some good news and great news arrived for me today. Firstly the good news (which in fairness, for me is exceptional news) I have been asked to represent my MMA club in a tournament which, assuming I qualify will take me to Japan. Of course the prospect of going to Japan to compete on a world stage in Mixed Martial Arts is such an incredible feeling, especially since my current record is only 3-0-0 and there are a lot of equally talented and more experienced guys out there. But more than that, the mere fact that the guys and girls at my club felt that I was good enough to be put forward for me means more than anything.

Now, the great news. In May I will be interviewing 'Misstallica', a kick-ass all girl tribute to Metallica. For me this is such a great accolade as it means that my publication is gaining some real recognition again within the music industry and people are starting to take notice of us. The sensation is just phenomenal, I'm really excited. Of course, now I can't go out and party as much because I need to stay in tip-top condition. Haha I'm all over the place but loving it.
