Well, first of all, where did I get these friends? I don't send friend requests and haven't gotten many myself. Is someone automatically your friend now if you comment on their set? If so, OK, but I'm not so desperate for the companionship that the site needs to gift me friends.
In other news, I will not be moving to Germany permanently after all, as I would need much more money to get the student visa than I had though. That has forced the girlfriend and me to make some new plans, Now I'm looking at Ph.D programs back home and about to start the mad dash to get application in by the December/January deadlines to have a chance of getting in for next Fall. A new city would be kind of exciting.
