I just got back from a 4-day camping trip out in the Carmanah Valley. The Caramanah is one of the most ancient coniferous forests in the world. Trees living in the west coast rainforest that are thousands of years old. A few times I felt there might be prehistoric reptiloid creatures wandering about, but I didn't actually see any. The weather was very wet and beautiful. There were also plenty of mushrooms growing there in magnificent splendour. It was such a relaxing and meditative experience. I will definately visit it again sometime. Magical magical magical
