i worked the damn rodeo all weekend; business was incredibly slow but its always fun times at the good ol' pond
friday and saturday is always just PBR{Professional Bull Riders} and alot of celebrities were in attendance haha yea so i was amused at melissa gilbert showing up haha and sunday; oh sunday is the Latin Rodeo. usually they have a small rodeo and several mexican singersperform. you know...the ones that do the "AHHHHHHHHHHHYAYA" its always SOLD OUT and we always limit sales to 1 beer per person; they get so drunk anyways lol gawddamnborrachos.
i enjoy working there or i wouldn't have done it for the last 8 years BUT with all good things comes even better things...and i've been offered 2 better positions with my current employer but at different venues. its scary. i've been stressed out trying to decide whether i should just let go of the pond and move to another facility. so i either move to edison international field {its right across the street BUT its a different department and its a non-union position
} OR i go to the home depot center: new home of LA GALAXY in carson that opens in may. but its so far ughz.
and yesterday i was out all day in contract negotiations for local 681. shit blows.
i got home and settled in and started coughing and now got a runny nose. the 2nd to the last season episode of OZ was good. i caught the repeat last night.

That is really great that you have so many options weighing in on you like that! My father was one of the founders for local 660 (L.A. County Chicano Association) so from what I know, it is hell of a lot better to have a union under your angel wings then not if the job pays roughly the same. Wish you all the luck Rodeo Queen!
