So, this weekend was a blast.
I hung out with a bunch of friends Saturday. I love being around good people. And Saturday night, me and my friend Vanessa went by this bar, Coasters, and met up with a couple of our friends. I almost didn't stay, but I'm so glad that I did.
The boys were running late. So, me and Vanessa waited around for about an hour or so drinking. I was getting tired and my friend Mike (whos house I was at earlier in the evening) told me that if I needed a place to crash for the night, I could stay over there. Well, I decided not to and stuck around the bar. And then I see the boys walk by. A smile quickly spread from cheek to cheek. I was really glad to see Steve. I hadn't seen him in four years. And Adam looked great. However, although I had met him before, this was the first time I really got to hang out with him.
So, Steve had to leave and that left just me, Vanessa, and Adam. It was cool. We hung out , talked, drank, and whatnot. It was alot of fun. And I got to make a new friend. And that kicks much ass.
Sunday, Vanessa and I came back to my house. I took a shower. She took a nap. While she was napping, I talked to Adam via Yahoo IM for a little bit. It was cool. We got to talk.. learn alittle bit about each other.
Finally after many hours of rest, I woke Vanessa up and we got lunch. After that, I drove back down to the Fort and dropped Vanessa off at her car. I didn't really have a game plan about what I wanted to do that evening. So, I stopped by and saw a friend of mine at work. Then, I called up Adam to see what he was up to and stopped by the shop to see him.
I hung out for a bit. Proofread his essay. Talked. Watched him do a couple of piercings. And then we went back to his place when he got off work and watched a great movie. 'House of Sand and Fog'. Rent it. Buy it. Whatever you do.. just watch it. It's great. The whole night and weekend was great.
