woke up at 7:45 and called in sick. roiled a bit in bed and dreamt dreams that disappeared in the daylight. yawned to the pitter pitter of a soft cloud-pisshing rain. open go the doors and the windows. justin is making sport of climbing my screen. i dial up my mam and she sounds genuinely glad to hear from her son. we exchange a little news and then make stabs at plans of getting together. she pawns me off on my da for more concrete plans who in turn tells me he and mam have to have a "talk" to sort it all out. some things don't change i guess. but i do miss them something awful. da mentions a possible gig up north in his shop for a town meeting of sorts.
the other night she and i finally defined our relationship. exclusiveness and such. feels good to get it out with her. now we both don't feel as entrapped or obliged.
why did i watch a zombie flick before bed last night? not a smart move mate. not smart at all. ken?
currently reading "porno" which is the sequel to "trainspotting" and a damn good book. i wish i could talk with a scottish accent.
