Wow! So today has been... eventful... maybe?
Everything got locked down due to the ice storm (apparently named KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!). Schools were cancelled, mine AFTER all my classes. *grumble* Had to get my baby sister a few hours early so I cut ahead of everyone by parking, walking in and signing her out 30 minutes before they were released. HA! Take that, all you jerks that don't know how to drive! I RULE YOU!
Moving on... On my way home my supervisor called to tell me my shift had been cancelled. Mixed blessing, that. I was able to spend today splitting my time watching new anime, drawing and scanning, reading about world news (the whole North Korea thing has my hackles raised) and reading about some sciencey stuff.

The downside is that I'm not getting paid for today. Kinda pissed about that... but between already having no semblance of decent traction on the LAWN, I refuse to head out into this wasteland of a town in it's current state.
On the upside, I was able to scan in this!
THAT started as hand practice and devolved from there. It's also semi-appropriate for today! Yay! I'm so proud of myself.
