Is there a full moon or eclipse or something going on? Life has been odd.
Work was horrendous. We won't even go into details.
I confronted a friend about her violent, abusive boyfriend and she basically changed the subject, blowing it off. He threw her up against a brick wall last weekend, hard enough that her arm started bleeding. She was scared enough that she called a friend to come get her. He also stole her phone, ID, and cash. He ended up destroying her phone because she left when the friend came to "rescue" her. Why was he pissed you ask? She was outside talking to two of his female friends and he thought she was smoking. Fucking christ, she is 18 years old; even if she had been smoking, its her right. And he erases numbers out of her phone if they are male or if he feels they are a bad influence on her. Please, someone, tell me how to get this girl to wake up and realize that none of this shit is okay. She seemed embarassed that I asked her what was up with him hurting her.
In happier news, I am supposed to go tailgating Saturday. I've never been before. My friend and co-worker invited me--we both work later on in the day, so if we're dead tired, we can be dead tired moral support for each other.
I have Sunday off.
Trust me, I NEED it.
