So we move in less than a week. Yay and boo. Yay because I love the place we are moving into, its within walking distance of the bookstore with the coffeeshop inside it and Target, as well as my gym. It has a pool, central air and balconies/patios (depending on which floor we get--I am really hoping for second story because I want to have a balcony). Boo because I loathe the moving process and because we have let this place get so gross because we knew we were moving.
I decided to give up on the fridge from hell last night. I tossed everything and unplugged it. Seriously, in about two days, about 6 inches of ice had covered everything in the freezer. I went to bed and woke up to a flooded kitchen. Poor Lucy walked around all day confused as to why he paws were wet. I ened up throwing away the area rug that was in the kitchen/dining area because it was SOAKED. I feel sorry for the next tenants here--that damn thing never worked well for us and it kept getting worse. I'm just gonna leave it unplugged when we move out.
I saw The Wedding Crashers last night. Good flick, I recommend it. Of course, I love every movie Owen Wilson is in and VInce Vaughn is totally freaking hot, so what's not to love?
I ran into the friend with the lame boy last week. She was alone and she treated me as if nothing ever happened. I really want to attempt to keep at least a casual friendship going. I just have to be careful, since she'll get mad if I say anything negative about loserboy.
Speaking of losers, I keep running into my ex. I'm actually not sure he recognized me at first, which is fabulous. He always used to go out of his way to try to talk to me and now, he is giving me these dirty looks--like a dirty look edged with that why do you hate me thing. I wish he'd stay out of this town, which isn't gonna happen, his mom lives here and he grew up here. I just have no desire to be reminded that he exists. I don't wish bad things on him, I just wish I didn't have to deal with him. He's very immature so I always wonder what kind of shit he might pull (he was the one who circled my parked car with his new girlfriend last winter).
