I went to a friend's birthday party last night. She is a very cool girl and we used to be best friends, but we've moved in different directions and now rarely hang out. I'm generally not a big fan of her parties--they tend to be out of control, she'll literally invite everyone under the age of 30 that she runs into. So I wasn't expecting to have much fun. But it was rather cool. Her boyfriend doesn't seem like as much of a loser-freeloader as when they were first together--he has a job now, for the first time ever!
I also got to hang out with a new girl, who seems very cool. I may mention this site to her after we've hung out a bit more, I really think she'd enjoy it. We made plans to have a girls night out, because a friend of mine has a boyfriend who won't "allow" her to go out without him and who won't take her to any bar (the poor girl just turned 18 a month ago, so of course she's curious). So we're gonna take her out dancing, no boys allowed. I'm so lucky, Dustin fully supports this idea and thinks its great.
And the new girl's boyfriend wants to adopt one of my parent's kitties!! Yay kitty to a good home. Only two more to find homes for.
On the downside, my ex-boyfriend was there, the one who likes to tell people what a bitch I am right before he starts calling himself an idiot for letting me get away. If he walked into a group or room that I was in last night, he'd immediately leave. It was kinda funny.
And a girl I despise was there. She is also a good friend of the birthday girl but she lives out of town so I didn't expect her to be there. She is a patholoical liar who caused me a lot of problems and a lot of drama. She knows I don't like her. So why does she try to talk to me? I refused to give more than one word answers and then, only if I had to. I think she got the point. Why can't people like that just leave me alone. I don't wanna talk, I don't wanna be your friend. I just want to pretend you don't exist, alright? Does that make me a bitch?
I got an 85 cent raise--can I get a hell yah, that fucking rocks!?? What with tomorrow being time and half, the timing could not have been better.
Next weekend is gonna rock. I hope its hot and doesn't rain.
I only work three days this week.
