So I spent my first day of vacation doing nothing. I slept way more than I needed to, but hey, why not? I feel so much better.
Tomorrow is my get everything taken care of day. Go to the DMV to re-new my license, talk to the cable people about the best new deal we can get, go home and get my car back, buy scrapbook supplies so I can work on my brothers book for his graduation present, clean the kitchen (the rest of the aprtment can wait), do laundry, workout, grocery shop, plan food for Friday, and make dinner. Insanity, but I want to get most of it done so I can enjoy the rest of the week of freedom. I still want to get the lip-labret piercing (basically I want it pierced in the location of a lip piercing but with a labret stud, not a ring, due to my job), but I need my piercer to come back to work. So it'll most likely have to wait til my week off in April.
I helped my friend dye his goatee pink tonight. It turned out a sort of magenta-purpley pink because he has naturally red-orange hair. It looked pretty cool. I'm wishing I would've got pictures.
Now I'm wide awake and kind of bored. I should be cleaning, but I don't feel like starting that tonight.
I'm going to a women's comedy night on Thursday with a couple of my friends. I went last year and it was pretty good--plus, they served three different desserts, including yummy dark chocolate truffles. Afterward, I'll likely celebrate my Irishness with a couple of drinks. Friday is my party with a few friends. Saturday, my actual birthday, my parents are coming up to take me out to dinner. Sunday evening, Dustin's dad is gonna make us dinner. Best cook ever. I can't wait. Most likely Italian food. Bascially, I'll most likely gain 10 pounds this weekend, due to all the yummy foods.
And my eye is totally fine today. Whew--I was a little worried about that.
Thank you to everyone who gave me advice in my last journal, and thanks for all the early birthday wishes.
