We got a Christmas tree on Sunday. This year, we went with a fake tree, due to the issues with last year's ginormous pine tree--whoever rented our old place is probably still picking needles out of the carpet.
Anyway, I'll take some pics once we buy a few more ornaments for the new tree--purple and silver.
I have to return the topper I bought--it just won't work. Its too heavy for the tree and it falls off.
Lucycat is having a blast shaking the tree til the ornaments fall off, then batting them around. I sprinkled pepper around the tree because someone once told me that cats hate pepper. We'll see if that changes anything.
On an unrelated note, a friend and I drove an hour to get her tattooed today, only to have her decide she didn't really want to do it yet. So we found a shop and I got the piercings I've been saying I'm gonna get. And it actually was less painful than anticipated. Always a good thing.
