So the high winds combined with snow yesterday kept us from going to Dustin's dad's for Thanksgiving. 
We went to my grandma's instead, since she lives the other way and the weather was drivable. My family is so redneck and crazy. And they are not the best cooks either. We ate some dessert and a little of the food and sat around for a bit before coming back home.
We spent most of the afternoon on the couch, watching That 70s Show and drinking coffee, the kitty napping with us. It was pretty nice.
Around seven, we were hungry so we set out to see what was open on the holiday. Our choices were Dominos, McDonalds, and a chinese place. We had McDonalds. They were quite busy. Then we went on a crusade to find a local newspaper. After about 6 stops, we found a machine at a closed restaurant that still had a few (after T-day ads of course caused the shortage). Nothing too great was on sale so I slept in. Sort of. Dustin woke me up at 9:30 to take him to work.
Now I just to buy a Christmas tree.
One of my friends and I are going to one of those paint your own pottery places this afternoon. I've never done that before, it should be fun. And prolly expensive. Oh well.

did you have fun painting pottery?? i did that a few years ago every thursday for 6 months. i made some brilliant stuff.
