So everyone's hours got cut at work. I only have 24 this week--I usually get 36-40.
On the plus side, I only work three days and none of them are the dreaded cashier shifts. I am going to try to pick up a shift on Wednesday if anyone wants to give--sometimes, the college students like to give away those mid-week shifts--I can hope. I can handle a week of fewer hours but I hope this isn't a permanent type of thing. I'm very used to having a 40 hour check to throw around.

I made dinner last night for sweetest day. I made pork loin in apple juice, glazed in apple butter, biscuits and potato wedges. And salad. And margaritas for dessert.

Dustin has a cold or something. His ears hurt and he can't hear very well. Like seriously can't hear the kitty purring. I'm kind of concerned and I wish he'd go get it checked out but he is insistent that he'll be fine after a few days of allergy medicine.

I went home today and got to play with the kittens again. I still want one so much but one kitty is probably enough for this apartment. I'm not sure how Lucy would react to another kitty at this point anyway.

Dustin and I also went shopping today. He wanted some new shirts. I went along for the fun of it--and of course, ended up buying more than he did. Must. Stop. Buying. Clothes. Seriously, I'd so much money if I quit--my closet is stuffed, I am in no need of anything new.
