New tattoos for my best friend and I today.

We both were looking for something to symbolize our bond twith one another. See, we've known each other since we were tiny little brats.. and.. we're just like family. To call her a friend almost downplays it in my eyes, she's my fucking sister. My own mother and father refer to her as 'daughter', you know?

But, with my up-coming move to Ohio.. we both know we're gonna miss the hell out of each other. So, we wanted to get something special.. especially since she's always wanted a tattoo.. and I've been wanting to add on to my collection.

So, each of us decided to get the latin word for 'Sisters' (Sororis) on our upper back. The whole thought behind it is that we will always be sisters.. and always have each other's back, no matter what. We both got different fonts for the word, due to our seperate tastes in things. Hers is more delicate and softer than mine, and mine is more bold and simplified than hers. If we hadn't done it that way- then we'd still be there trying to decide, haha.

Anyway... here's a picture of mine.


I plan on getting some swirling, dead vine sort of work around it in the future.. maybe something spreading out towards my shoulders and such.

In other news: I pick up Rob from the airport tomorrow night. God, I'm so excited. I can't wait to be with him again...
