It feels as close to something like Fall as it ever does here in SoCal, which made for a nice weekend. We had a pretty perfect Sunday afternoon at Verdugo bar in Glassell Park. If there's another place in the world where you can have your pick of the city's best beer selection, drink your locally made Oktoberfest while playing scrabble on picnic benches under sunny skies in the beer garden, and watch the raucousness of the Over the Top Arm Wrestling Championship, I've yet to find it.
