So, i too got fired yesterday.
So now both me and my husband are out of work, because of the same manager.

And you know what?

The only thing I am upset about is missing out on 3 weeks paid vacation. I had planned on quitting as soon as I graduate in two weeks anyway.

My direct manager is really pissed. I called her and told her last night what happened and ended up having to talk her out of quitting herself. She said she is going to get me some freelancing hours as a traveling makeup artist for Estee Lauder instead of being based in the store from which I was fired.

We will be ok. I have a lot of opportunities coming my way. I got paid today, which will tide us over till we get our tax refund which will get us caught up, plus most of our car paid off. That is also when I start an internship which is paid. So no worries.

I'm seeing this as a blessing because I can devote all of my time now to finishing up all the projects I have started to beef up my portfolio.
